Yugaditya Bamalwa is an eleventh-grade student at The Ardee School, New Friends Colony in New Delhi, where he is currently studying Mathematics, Economics, Physics, and English. While the subjects discussed inside the classroom have helped him find a strong inclination toward understanding business and how the world functions, Yugaditya’s curiosity extends into diverse domains such as sociology, art and culture, the intricacies of heritage, and most importantly, self-expression (evident in his pursuit of mastering the drums by spending countless hours teaching himself, playing for his school band and winning accolades).
Through Jewels of India, Yugaditya aspires to channel his unique interests into an initiative that values and safeguards the artistic traditions of marginalized communities, while simultaneously creating opportunities for them. By doing so, he hopes to amplify the voices of the many “jewels” that make India’s legacy truly timeless.
